Question How to create multiple volume sources using GPS

Forum: Particles
Date: 24 Jul, 2015
From: Dylan Pierce <Dylan Pierce>

Good day all,

As the title suggestions I am wondering how one would make multiple volume sources using /gps/ commands in a macro file? For example I have a cylindrical volume source defined as follows:

/gps/particle gamma
/gps/pos/shape Volume
/gps/pos/shape Cylinder
/gps/pos/centre 0 0 3.25 mm
/gps/pos/radius 25 mm
/gps/pos/halfz 2.25 mm
/gps/ang/type iso
/gps/ene/type Mono
/gps/ene/mono 46.54 keV

But now I want to add a second source to the same run, such that the new source is position at 0 0 15 mm with all the same characteristics as the first source. Which would look like:

/gps/particle gamma
/gps/pos/shape Volume
/gps/pos/shape Cylinder
/gps/pos/centre 0 0 15.0 mm
/gps/pos/radius 25 mm
/gps/pos/halfz 2.25 mm
/gps/ang/type iso
/gps/ene/type Mono
/gps/ene/mono 46.54 keV

If anyone could give me a hand with this I'd greatl;y appreciate it!

- Dylan
