I am simulating ions in polyethylene. I want to score the particles for the particular acceptance angle (7 deg). In the simulation, particles are moving in z-direction and detector geometry is cylinder made from G4Tubs.
dir = track->GetMomentumDirection();
To score the particles in acceptance angle (7 deg) which of the following should be used:
1. if(dir.theta()/deg < 7)
2. if(dir.phi()/deg < 7) ???
My other question is
3. What will std::acos(dir.z()) will produce?
