If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.

I post a message in the category of electromagnetic process : http://hypernews.slac.stanford.edu/HyperNews/geant4/get/emprocess/1308.html. and i post a part of this message in event and track manager
I try to simulate a microfocus x-ray tube by modelling only a electron beam in direction to a target.
I saw that some electrons cross the target without interaction. The target thick is sufficient to stop the electron (greater than range of these). It seems that the electron don't see the target, it is as if there was no target only galactic...
It's possible that the problem come from the step length ?
My second problem concerns the title of this message. When i do a beamOn i see that cut and threshold are calculate for proton that i didn't instantiate. How it is possible ?
Thanks in advance for your time,
