None GPS Point Source problem

Hello all,

I'm having a problem trying to simulate multiple point sources located far (>100m) from my detector. I want restrict incident particles to within a cone shaped beam so that only the sensitive area of my detector is hit.

My problem is that incident particles hit the same point of my detector. Is there another way to define my desired particle beam where I restrict particles to reside within a defined cone?

Here is my commands used in my macro file:

# Set General Particle Source options
# source one at x=525cm
/gps/particle gamma /gps/verbose 0 /gps/type Point /gps/centre 525. 0. 15000.0 cm /gps/posrot1 -0.035 0. -1. /gps/posrot2 -0.035 0. -1. /gps/angtype cos /gps/angrot1 -0.035 0. -1. /gps/angrot2 -0.035 0. -1. /gps/maxtheta 0.038 deg /gps/energytype Mono /gps/monoenergy 2 MeV

Thanks for any help in advance.

Mark
