Hi Monalisha,

I think you can use the following code in your macro file to define your two gammas, and tweak the intensity of your gammas to emulate the branching ratios. I am no expert, so if someone can confirm or correct my idea, it will be welcome.

In this example, this is a point source at the origin with an isotropic radiation.

# First gamma, intensity is 1 by default

/gps/particle gamma

/gps/pos/type Point

/gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 0. cm

/gps/ang/type iso

/gps/energy 100.0 keV

# Second gamma, intensity is twice the intensity of the first gamma

/gps/source/add 2.

/gps/particle gamma

/gps/pos/type Point

/gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 0. cm

/gps/ang/type iso

/gps/energy 200.0 keV

You can set the intensity of the first gamma using this line

/gps/source/intensity

before the line

/gps/particle gamma

This example is constructed with help of the GPS documentation available at

On the other side, I don't know if the two gammas will be "considered" as in a single decay.
