Question Why is half life changing?

Forum: Particles
Date: 21 Jan, 2013
From: Cejo George <Cejo George>

Dear Geant4 users,
I'm using rdecay01 example to develop my code. But in this example i find that
with change in activity (by changing /run/beamOn ) half life also changes which is
wrong isn't it. I think once isotope is known (through /gun/ion ) half life should
always be constant how much ever be the activity.

Also, is it necessary to use histogramming to correctly implement radioactive decay examples.

Regards, Cejo George
