Hello users, I am asking if someone has an idea how to declare let say five ions in gps macro. I declare them like that:

/gps/source/intensity 0.23 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 39 88 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.33 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 27 60 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.15 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 55 137 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.02 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 58 139 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.03 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 27 57 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.04 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 95 241 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.02 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 48 109 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.03 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 24 51 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.08 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 50 113 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

/gps/source/add 0.07 /gps/particle ion /gps/ion 38 85 0 0 /gps/pos/centre 0. 0. 2.5 cm /gps/ang/type iso

where intensity is the amount of activity of the radioelement in the whole source. The spectrum obtained looks like the experimental one but with different efficiency?? I am lost, and it's the same result when I use a point source. I don't know if I put in the intensity the emission rate of my source or there is another way to simulate different activities in the same source using gps.

thank you so much for your help.

Cheers Samir
