I was looking into this question more and found this page with some information that could help me.

http://geant4.cern.ch/G4UsersDocuments/UsersGuides/ForApplicationDeveloper/html/TrackingAndPhysics/particle.html

It says that I could use a G4DynamicParticle some of the methods of the class are for setting the G4ElectronOccupancy and methods for setting PreAssignedDecayProperTime and PreAssignedDecayProducts. These are all the things that I would need to use to correctly define Ar^{1-} but unfortunately there are no examples included with geant that show how to use these classes. Has anyone used any of these methods before?
