Hello,

I have encountered a problem in my simulation where a random gamma particle gets stuck at a random position within my geometry and its step length ->0. The simulation does not give me the typical warning that the particle has not moved, the simulation instead just freezes.

I am using a parametrised volume consiting of many boxes. I have attached the output from Geant4. It appears that there is overlap between two boxes but I have checked the entire volume and none of the boxes are overlapping.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? I should also mention that this error only occurs with gammas. Electrons work fine.

Kind Regards

Michael Douglass
