in Geant4 units

amu = 0.0103643 (MeV/c2)

see CLHEP/Units/PhysicalConstants.h

This is not what you want to divide by.

You need to specify the total kinetic energy for you ion, in your case 2280 MeV. Calculations from "Energy per nucleus" needs to be done by the user.
