Hi,

There is a link to some GPS doc further down (thread 36).

Some tips for a quick start:
Replace G4ParticleGun with G4GeneralParticleSource in your primary
generator action as apropriate. You should now have a /gps subdirectory
in the Geant4 shell.

I have not used the GPS for optical photons, but my guess is you can do
something like this:
/gps/type Point (for a point source)
/gps/direction [direction]
/gps/particle opticalphoton
/gps/energytype Arb
/gps/histname arb
/gps/histpoint [energy in MeV] [weight]
/gps/histpoint [energy in MeV] [weight]
/gps/histpoint [energy in MeV] [weight] (to define a histogram)
/gps/arbint Lin

then beamOn

This is from memory and cutnpaste from my config files, so it might not be
entirely correct. Good luck!

Cheers
Tore
