I implemented this procedure to obtain the number of secondaries for each kind of secondaries. Any way I am not so sure that this gives me the number of created secondary particles (I am interested in this number). I think this actually give the numbers of steps for a given particle. I think this method allows to estimate how many times a kind of secondary particle contributes to the deposited energy inside a sensitive detector. I am wrong ?
