If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

I have the proposal for future GEANT4 development. It looks to be wise to include into GEANT4 some class for Photomultiplyers detection. It can contain such characteristics, as PMT quantum efficiency dependence from the photon energy. As far as many types of detectors use PMTs, this can be usefull for many people.
In future, maybe, it will be also possible to make the special optical surface for Photomultiplyers, characterised by the complex index of reflection (see, par example, the article in NIM A378, 1996,p. 162-170 "Optical properties of an EMI K2CsSb bialkali photokathode").
This proposal is addressed especially to Peter Gumplinger. Best regards. Igor Machulin.
