Hi Maria Lucia,

I have an idea what's going on. I suspect that you have too few bins in your histogram and the binning coincides such that the left and the right side of the peak emission average to roughly the same. What the program does is throw photon energies with a linear interpolation between the PhotonEnergy entries. Now, your spectrum is kind of symmetric around 2.99eV. Please, define a histogram with finer binning and throw an adequate number of scintillation photons in each bin for enough statistics to see the shape. What you should be seeing is a spectrum with linear rise between your specified PhotonEnergy values.

I dont' quite understand, but you cannot change nEntries = 5 during a run. If your spectrum is better approximated by a quadratic interpolation between the PhotonEnergy points you have specified, then you'll need to specify a larger intensity array. - I am thinking of improving the program to do a quadratic interpolation in the future by default.

If you still get a spectrum that isn't what you exect then there is a bug, but I doubt it....

Best regards, Peter
