Wait a minute! To the best of my knowledge there are no neutrino interactions in GEANT4, so the person posting this has to implement his/her neutrino process anyway, and register it with the neutrino process manager, or else nothing happens.

As for the cross section, for a homogeneous detector, like a water cerenkov counter or a solid piece of lead, the user may just force a neutrino interaction uniform thoughout the volume. In this case, no neutrinos are tracked and the neutrino interaction is the primary vertex. The relevant code resides in myPrimaryGeneratorAction and would include the sampling from a neutrino energy spectrum (convoluted by the cross section).
