This error occurs seemingly regardless of the source type I specify, 
i.e. even if my detector wholly contains a sphere of 1.0 mm radius at
(0, 0, 0), as in the following.

/gps/pos/confine pv_det_envelope_0
/gps/pos/type Volume
/gps/pos/shape Sphere
/gps/pos/inner_radius 0
/gps/pos/radius 1 mm
/gps/pos/centre 0 0 0

/gps/ene/mono 10 GeV

/gps/ang/type iso

/gps/particle mu-

I still get the same error message (see parent post).

Apparently, the GPS thinks that the generated points
are outside the specified volume when, in fact, they
are not.

Simple gps macros such as mono energy with a fixed
position and momentum work fine.
