Question Time characteristics of the scintillation pulse

Forum: Processes Involving Optical Photons

From: Clarisse <Clarisse>

Hi,

I know that I can specify the decay time constant of my scintillation pulse using for instance "SLOWTIMECONSTANT". Is there a way to specify the rise time of the scintillation pulse? Otherwise stated, I am wondering how the entire scintillation pulse is modeled as a function of time in GEANT4.

Also, what are the default values used by GEANT4 if I do not specify any absorption length for my scintillation photons? Thanks for helping, Clarisse
