Question Simple example with Optical Photon

Forum: Processes Involving Optical Photons

Hi, I'm new to Geant4.

I'm currently in an internship and I'm studying the Scintillation and the Cerenkov effect over different surface. I would like to have an simple example where there is only one volume of some materials in the vacuum, and then I would like to know the number of photons created on these volume after some high-energy particles hit it.

I was studying the OpNovice example but it is too complicated and there is a lot of things that I don't need and don't understand also.

Does one of you made something similar to these? Or does someone have a simple volume in the vacuum that I can use as a base ?

Thanks for your help!
