It seems to be the case. That is indeed, as expected, every time the optical photon crosses the surface (defined as a skinsurface).
 So in this case, use of the bordersurface would be more appropriate I assume.
And that bordersurface could define just one side of the G4Box. That way the optical photon would cross it only once, and either will be transmitted or reflected.

Am I correct?
