HI peter, thanks for your prompt response.

I already read about Mie scattering and Henyey–Greenstein, but i cant understand how do you find the Mie scattering length data, looking in the forum i found a response of Vlasios to you:

" The way I do it is the following:
1. figure out the property of the material.
2. go to the web calculation to get the Mie scattering distribution (also probably strength) http://omlc.ogi.edu/calc/mie_calc.html
3. Fit the distribution with the approximation H-G (then the parameters coming out the fit are those parameters)
4. Put it into GEANT4"

You look like somebody to know about this soo.
1.For be precise what is the data from the page to use with the approximation H-G?
2.when you use the H-G approximation you do it with paper and pencil(if you do it this way a numerical example would be great) or need additional software to calculate?

Thanks a lot.
