I've also recently run into this error, using Geant4.10.2. As with Gabriel, when running /geometry/test/run, I get no errors, but I get a 'no reallocation step' error, reportedly when entering from the mother volume into a daughter. The daughter volume is one of a number of scintillating paddles, while the parent is simply an air volume to encapsulate the daughter subvolumes making up that part of the detector. There's a LogicalBorderSurface defined between the daughter and mother, representing a reflective wrapping. This is ordered such that the boundary is defined on exiting the daughter volume.

I'm not sure how to go about debugging this, though. 'Something is wrong with the geometry', but nothing appears to be overlapping, as far as I can tell from firing geantinos through and inspecting geometry with OGL. Conceptually, there's a paddle in a box of air, and an interface defined between them .... but something is problematic? What drives the 'reallocation step' to occur? Why might it not occur?

I've cranked up verbosity of tracking, but to be honest I don't know what to look for. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
