I have a problem with photopeak form.

In my model I have a cylindrical or spherical scintillator and a photosensor. When there is no loss of photons in the scintillator, the photopeak on spectrum has ideal gauss form. But when I add absorption length to the scintillator material (CsI:Tl) or absorption on the scintillator border (reflectivity = 98-99%), the photopeak stretches on the right side.

The reason of this I think is the interaction depth. If the interaction happens near the photosensor, more photons are registered.

That seems to be logical in the model, but I don't observe the effect on real spectrums.

I don't see it in model when the reflectivity is 100% and the scintillator materials no attribute absorption length, but even with reflectivity 99% (MgO) and absorption length 5 m (actual absorption length must be about 1 m I think) the photopeak becomes curved.

May be I miss something in the model, so that is does not correspond with reality? Or did I choose the wrong parameters?
