Thanks a lot for your help, results look reasonable now!

I still don't understand why, though. I was under the impression that setting the Cut Value to an extremely high value, namely 10km, basically corresponds to setting no cuts at all. I read the Physics Reference Manual but must admit that I don't understand how a cut in range is related to a cut in energy.

In http://hypernews.slac.stanford.edu/HyperNews/geant4/get/phys-list/608/1.html it was also only suggested to read the the Physics Reference Manual and publications.

Can you maybe give a few clarifying words?
