Hi Matt.
To me it seems that you did not set attenuation lengths of your materials, at least I did not see it in your DetectorConstruction. If I remember correctly, the default attenuation length is infinity, so your photons (that might correctly be traped due to total reflection) are never absorbed and your simulation never stops.

If you simulate perfectly smooth dielectric-dielectric surfaces, you do not need to define optical surfaces.
