The optical photon must be linearly polarized in the plane perpendicular to its direction!

Please, use the code in:

http://www-geant4.kek.jp/lxr/source/examples/extended/optical/OpNovice/src/OpNovicePrimaryGeneratorAction.cc#L83

and again compare your code closely with this example. Is the photon starting inside the material with the absoprtion length?
