Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. Dear Peter, The number of scintillation photons is similar in both cases. I looked where the photons are going, and in the case when I use G4VPVParameterisation they practically all get absorbed at boundaries. For example: With Parametrized ScitTubes (for 200 MeV e-): ----------------------------- Total energy deposition in scintillator : 1694.35 (keV) Number of photons produced by scintillation in this event : 19453 Number of Scint photons absorbed (OpAbsorption) in this event : 26 Number of Scint photons absorbed at boundaries (OpBoundary) in this event : 19422 Number of Scint photons exiting calo: 5 For this stage of my analysis is not so crucial to have the number of scintillation photons exiting calorimeter, I'm just worried that I might have some bug in my code that I do not understand.
