1) Is it true that in a single event you have too many photons? To see events separately:

  /vis/scene/endOfEventAction refresh

(This is the default so, in fact, all you need to do is make sure that your do NOT have "/vis/scene/endOfEventAction accumulate" - or have commented it out with a "#".)

2) There are built in commands to select or anti-select tracks. See the Application Developers Guide Section 8.7. Enhanced Trajectory Drawing and Section 8.8. Trajectory Filtering. That might help.

3) You can always draw, selectively as you wish, trajectories in EndOfEventAction. Have a look at
