Dear Peter,

Thank you very much for your fast, clear and complete answer, it was perfectly what I needed to know.

I changed my code, I don’t have anymore the ***NoRINDEX*** message (I had forgotten to apply my surface to a logical volume).

I still have (at least) one question. Now when I run my simulation, when the photon is not absorbed, I have this message in my terminal :

The warning message is, I think, due to the energy range I use to define the ‘optical properties’ of the Aluminum material and / or surface. I am currently gathering information to correct this part.

But for the StepTooSmall message, is this an ‘error’, in the idea that I may do something to avoid getting these messages ? If so, where should I look to 'correct' this ?
