None how to define the excitation spectrum of a material in Geant4?

A very quick question: can you trigger scintillating process of material A with a "opticalphoton" generated by material B in Geant4 (material A's excitation spectrum ~= material B's emission spectrum) or generated by Cerenkov process? If so, how to define the excitation spectrum of a material in Geant4? I tried to use "opticalphoton" generated by Cerenkov process to trigger the scintillating process in my optical fiber but it doesn't work.
