Question non uniform timing distribution

Forum: Processes Involving Optical Photons
Date: 07 Aug, 2013
From: <bg92>

Dear all,

when I look at the timing-distribution of my C-photons hitting a particular solid, I observe some variations in the structure, where I would expect a continuum. The plot attached shows the distribution in ns of those photons, where the binning is 10ps. I have some hard time to figure out this bump structure. Any idea ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Regards Baptiste
