Question angle Cerenkov radiation

Hello everyone,

I would like to compute the angle between a particle (a pion for example) and its Cerenkov photons. In my SteppingAction, I can get the ParentID of the track with aStep->GetParentID(), but as far as I know, there is no method to get the 3momentum info of the track parent: something like: aStep->GetParent()->getMomentum()

My idea here is to get the 3vector of the radiated Cerenkov photon as: G4ThreeVector V1= aStep->GetTrack()->GetMomentum();

and the pion 3vector as: G4ThreeVector V2= aStep->GetParent()->GetTrack()->GetMomentum();

and finally: Angle=V1.Angle(V2)

This looks rather simple but I can't find a way to access simply parent info.

So, is there any simple way to make this?

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards, Baptiste
