Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

Hi, Thanks for your reply, You quoted: "We also don't know how exactly you've defined the water/air surface (smooth, rough etc. etc.)" I may misunderstood the User's guide for application Developers: "For the simple case of a perfectly smooth interface between two dielectric materials, all the user needs to provide are the refractive indices of the two materials stored in their respective G4MaterialPropertiesTable. " So all what i did to make sure the snell law is respected in my code is providing the refractive indices of the water and air. However in my detector construction I included now G4OpticalSurface* WaterSurface = new G4OpticalSurface("WaterSurface"); WaterSurface->SetType(dielectric_dielectric); WaterSurface->SetFinish(ground); WaterSurface->SetModel(unified); new G4LogicalBorderSurface("WaterSurface", target,world,WaterSurface);
is this correct? this give me different results compared to the previous one. Obviously i have to verify my code but i thought simple matter like light travel from water to air is already verified in geant4. Thanks fro your help
