Hello,

I think the description in the following bug report is similar to what you have described.

Also, when I was simulating a fiber within a scintillator box, I made the fiber and the scintillator share the same surface with the outside "world" volume. Now, when I try to cover the fiber end with a reflective coating (logical border between fiber and "world volume", the coating did not work, and the photons kept going out of the fibers into the world. However, when I applied the corrections described in the above link, this problem seems to be rectified.
