thanks a lot for your answer, Peter.

i noticed that the problem only occured when tracking an optical photon. that's why i shot a bunch of optical photons only to see if i'd have that problem too. but there wasn't any. the problem is only there when i turn G4Scintillation and G4OpWLS on simultaneously.
