hi Athreya, Thank you for your timely reply. I tried using the UNIFIED model. There is noticeable change, but still the compton region is not clear enough. Also I understood your point about the compton region.

Also through the link of your previous post I tried to reduce my crystal dimensions to 1"x0.5". This helped in increasing the lower region counts (though not majorly). Its in the following attachment.
When using both i.e. the G4LowEnergyCompton + G4LowEnergyPhotoElectric and G4ComptonScattering + G4PhotoElectricEffect it gives a bad histogram.
Doubts: 1) Is it necessary to give a reflective material (like MgO) layer in between the NaI(Tl) and Aluminium casing ? If YES then do we specify a trade-off between the REFLECTIVITY and EFFICIENCY values for MgO ?
2) Which Histogram plotting method do you use? I am using an online Histogram Plotter ( http://www.wessa.net/histo.wasp )
