I have a simulation consisting of a detector filled with liquid scintillator. The detector works by collecting optical photons from the resulting scattering within the scintillator from beam particles. This simulation works with muon and proton beam particles. However, neutron beam particles (1-100MeV) do not scatter and produce optical photons. There is no interaction at all. Is there a specific physics list I'm missing? I tried all the lists I'm aware of. Currently the simulation uses QGSP.
