JE,

For dielectric_metal surfaces the current G4 does not distinguish between polarisation perpendicular to or in the incident plane. This is a limitation in G4OpBoundaryProcess. In the next release of G4 the reflectivity on a metal surface can be assigned according to the incident angle, photon energy and a complex index of refraction.

I will send you the new files and explaining text which will appear in the Physics Reference Manual. You should be able to use it with no other changes to your current G4 installation.

Peter
