Hi all,

I am trying to create a material (a plastic) that is doped with a
scintillating material. What I am doing is creating two materials, the
plastic and the scintillator, and then creating a third material and using
the weightRatio to add in a certain percent of the scintillating material to
the plastic. However, the properties of the scintillator do not carry over!
In my detector construction, when I set the material to the scintillating
material, I get scintillation -- but when I set the material to the doped
plastic then I do not get scintillation. I feel like this should be able to
be done in Geant4 so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Does anyone know
how to get the properties of a material to carry over to a new material when
you create the new one?
