Hello Peter,

To investigate the bug, I slightly modified the N06 example using G4TessellatedSolid. I confirmed that the problem is not caused by GDML but by G4TessellatedSolid.

Please replace some files under $G4INSTALL/examples/novice/N06 with the attached files, and try $ exampleN06 Idle> /control/execute optPhoton.mac

You will see a escaping photon there.
