Hello all;

I would like to count the number of photoelectrons created in my PMTs for each event. I just thought of a crude fixed like this:

1) creating a method in the myUserEventInformation class - IncPMT_Detection(),

2)and in mysteppingAction class did the following:

      case Detection: //Note, this assumes that the volume causing detection
                      //is the photocathode because it is the only one with
	              //non-zero efficiency
	{
	  //Triger sensitive detector manually since photon is
	  //absorbed but status was Detection
	  G4SDManager* SDman = G4SDManager::GetSDMpointer();
	  G4String sdName="/CCDet/pmt_SD";
	  CCPMTSD* pmt_SD = (CCPMTSD*)SDman
	    ->FindSensitiveDetector(sdName);
	  if(pmt_SD)
	    pmt_SD->ProcessHits_constStep(theStep,NULL);
	    trackInformation->AddTrackStatusFlag(hitPMT);
	    eventInformation->IncPMT_Detection();
	  break;
	}
Although, I got some results, I'm not really sure if my method is right, hence I would appreciate your opinions.

Chibueze.
