I am simulating a LYSO crystal pixel in two situations.
The first is with fine ground surface and white epoxy as the reflector material on the crystal surface. The second is with polished surface and teflon tape wrapping the crystal. For now I am using on both situation the UNIFIED model for a “dielectric_dielectric” type surface and “groundbackpainted” finish. Sigma alpha is set to 0.1.
How to set properly the properties SPECULARLOBECONSTANT, SPECULARSPIKECONSTANT and BACKSCATTERCONSTANT? I know that when the crystal is highly polished (let's say sigma alpha = 0) I can use SPECULARSPIKECONSTANT = 1 and when sigma alpha reaches some specific value the radiation intensity is dominated by the specular lobe ( SPECULARLOBECONSTANT = 1), but I do not know at which specific value.
Any help would be appreciated!
