Sorry Matthew,

for again being rather late in responding. As far as dielectric_metal surfaces are concerned, in 9.5, you still have to edit the source to replace 'Absorption' with 'Transmission'. The source retains the comments advising you what to do:

What has happend in the meantime is that you may specify a wavelength dependent TRANSMITTANCE for a dielectric_dielectric surface. If this is specified for a surface it overwrites the Snell's law's probability. This allows the simulation of anti-reflective coatings. Thanks goes to Evgueni Goudzovski (CERN) for the idea.

I haven't come up yet with a 'transpartant' way to toggle transmission for absorption in the case of a dielectric_metal surface and so left it to you to change the code itself.
