Hi Justin,

It depends on the index of refraction of your detector (RefractiveIndex1). I don't know what it is but it is likely >1. Thus, you can have not only TotalInternalReflection but also FresnelReflection. To find out what is going on, I suggest you add in your PhysicsList the line:

theBoundaryProcess->SetVerboseLevel(1);

and run this event again. It'll tell you what happens at the surface.

To make sure you get what you expect you should set the material of the PMT to that of your detector.
