1) what's meaning the ABSLENGTH in the G4MaterialPropertiesTable(G4MPT)

The absorption length is the average distance traveled by a photon before being absorpted by the medium; i.e. it is the mean free path returned by the GetMeanFreePath method.

ABSLENGTH Value collection eff. 17cm 40% 100cm 80%

difference too much, right?

No, I'd say the difference is too small. If nothing else is happening the pairing should be either 27/80 or 40/85. Do you have absorption upon reflection? This would reduce the 85% down to 80% for when long tracks reflect more often.

2) how to assign the value of ABSLENGTH for CsI crystal at 2eV of photon_Energy
    Is it right that different initial gamma energy will have a different ABSLENGTH?

Please, see novice exampleN06. You need to find out from your supplier what are the actual values for CsI.

const G4int NUMENTRIES = 1;

You have to give the table at at least 2 points (they can be very close together but not identical)!!!

groundbackpainted means there is a Lambertian reflector, while polished/ground is simply a CsI sitting bare inside its surrounding. polish refers to the surface roughness while 'painted' refers to the fact that there is a reflector.
