Question how to destroy/remove the tracking information

Keywords: tracking stacking
Forum: Processes Involving Optical Photons
Date: 19 Jul, 2002
From: Jacek M. Holeczek <holeczek@us.edu.pl>

Hi,
My physics list contains Cerenkov and Scintillation processes.
For both of them I have set "SetTrackSecondariesFirst(true)".
If I understand the concept correctly, by every step of the
tracking of the "primary" particle its tracking will be suspended,
and geant4 will immediately track all optical photons that were
produced in the "current step of the primary particle".
That is fine and it's exactly what I need.
What I do not know how to solve is the following : after an optical
photon is tracked to its "end" (i.e. it leaves the world volume, or
is absorbed) I would like to remove all the information about it
from the system - that is I would like to destroy it's tracking
information, just like it never existed (or, like I classified it
to be killed in the StackingAction::ClassifyNewTrack).
How can I do this ?
Thanks in advance,
Jacek.
