Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. I need some help while I am trying to figure out what is the problem when I implement two DICOM geometries read simultaneously in the DICOM example.
I am using RegularDetectorCosntruction. First of all, I don't find where from the the G4Material* DicomPhantomParameterisationColour::ComputeMaterial function is called.
Then, as far as I understand, the materials seem to be calculated within the DetectorConstruction class. So why is the ComputeMaterial needed?
Finally, when I put some G4cout statements in the ComputeMaterial, I see that it is called not only during initialization (and also twice, once in the very beginning and one after the physics is called and I get all the usual warnings about the HP neutron package), but also during the run, whenever a particle hits a voxel.
I initially supposed that the material calculation will take place during initialization and once the geometry is created it is frozen.
Any help is highly valuable as I am stuck. George
