Hi everyone my name ck and I am new to Geant4, currently I am trying run the hadrontherapy example and facing some questions here and hopefully can learn from
all of you here.
1. I had tried both examples defaultMacro.mac for without export PHYSLIST=QGSP_BIC and defaultMacroWithReferencePhysicsList.mac with export PHYSLIST=QGSP_BIC. Both can run successfully, but need to beamOn 500 or more only the energy results will show out in dose.out and see the braggpeak in the graph. If the beamOn less then 500, such 100-200. The dose.out is totally blank and the braggpeak also cant produce, why?
2. For make a successful run in the hadrontherapy_mac, actually i need to disable the /Physics/addPhysics binary. Otherwise a error will come out
file /home/ytl/GEANT4/geant4.9.4.p01/data/G4NEUTRONXS1.0/inelast13 is not opened by G4NeutronInelasticXS In src/G4NeutronInelasticXS.cc, line 215: ===> G4NeutronElasticXS: no data sets registered
if disable the binary process, so the run is ok, may know what happen in the binary process?
3. For the production of the BraggPeak, if without export the PHYSLIST=QGSP_BIC. The braggpeak produced have a good fit with the example from /hadrontherapy/experimentalData/proton/BraggPeak with can open by comparison.C.
But, if export the PHYSLIST=QGSP_BIC. I need to disable all the /add/Physics/process and /setcuts in the hadrontherapy_mac then only can run the macro successfully. But after closed all the setcuts, the dose distribution is far different in the comparison.C. I think the problem is the setcuts, but why I need to disable the setcuts only can run the macro?
Just 3 problems for temporary, really thank can learn from al of you.
