Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.

I ran some simulations and I realized that the main contribution to the peak you've seen is due to the brass final collimator (search for "HadrontherapyBeamFinalCollimator" in the file src/PassiveProtonBeamLine.cc).
The contribution due to the PMMA stopper is much less clear, and in any case, at slightly lower energies.
In any case the advanced example is meant to simulate a beam energy around 60 MeV (and with a Gaussian profile).
If you want to use it in other cases, you must change it.
