Hi

you should use the standard libz that is availbel on Unix. The built-in
zlib is only to be compiled on Windows.

There is a FLAG for this, which should have been set automatically.
You can built WITH zlib, but you should NOT built the zlib of G4, since
it may conflict with the system zlib available on all unix systems.
