Question out-of-source build about cmake

Forum: Installation and Configuration
Date: Mar 18, 07:54
From: Jincai <Jincai>

Hi, I have intalled Geant4 successfully before and have used it for some time. However, I didn't set the multithreading option to On when I installed Geant4 then. Now I want to reset the cmake option and use the following commands:

~/G4/geant4.10.02.p02/build$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/home/jcren/G4/geant4.10.02.p02 -DGEANT4_USE_OPENGL_X11=ON -DGEANT4_USE_RAYTRACER_X11=ON -DGEANT4_USE_GDML=ON -DGEANT4_USE_QT=ON -DGEANT4_INSTALL_DATA=ON GEANT4_BUILD_MULTITHREADED=ON ..

Then I got errors:
-- Geant4 requires an out-of-source build.
-- Please remove these files from /home/jcren/G4/geant4.10.02.p02 first:
-- CMakeCache.txt
-- CMakeFiles
-- Once these files are removed, create a separate directory
-- and run CMake from there
CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:19 (message):
  in-source build detected

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this error? Thank you. Best wishes, Jincai.
